Electrical stimulation therapy uses gentle electrical current delivered through pads on the skin to ease pain and reduce muscle spasm. It is one of the modalities we use to make active rehabilitation possible.

What a Session Is Like

Electrodes are placed over the treatment area and the current is set to a comfortable level. Most people describe it as a tingling or light tapping sensation, and it is usually combined with other treatment in the same visit.
