Peripheral neuropathy is damage to the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. It causes numbness, burning, tingling or weakness, usually beginning in the feet and hands.

Diagnosis with EMG

EMG and nerve conduction testing at our office measures how well the nerves are conducting and helps distinguish neuropathy from a compressed nerve in the spine.
