Trigger Point Injections

A trigger point is a knot of taut muscle that stays contracted and refers pain elsewhere. When it will not release with manual therapy, an injection directly into the trigger point can break the cycle.

What to Expect

The injection is a brief in-office procedure. Most patients return to normal activity the same day, and the injection is usually paired with manual therapy and exercise so the muscle stays released.

How We Can Help

  • Used for persistent muscle knots and referred pain
  • Common for neck, shoulder, upper back and low back pain
  • Brief in-office procedure
  • Paired with manual therapy and rehabilitative exercise
